**As of January31, 2024, project was awarded to Pride Utility Construction Co., awarded amount is $1,209,318.15. ** Scope of Work This project will consist of installing approximately 8,600 feet of 6 inch steel, 3,750 feet of 4 inch PE, and approximately 300 feet of 2 PE. *Note: These locations and quantities are subject to change but will be of similar scope. This will be a line item bid with a not to exceed total. Questions regarding bids should be directed to Steve Murray, Purchaing Director, at steve.murray@lawrencevillega.org, no later than 3:00 P.M. on November 29, 2023. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. The Work shall be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days. A five percent (5%) bid bond must be submitted with the bid. Successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfilling requirements as stated in the bid documents. The City of Lawrenceville reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety. This will require open trenching, boring, and soft digging. o Ezzard St. - Install approximately 3,750 feet of 4-inch PE main, 150 feet of 2-inch PE, with two 4-inch tie-overs, seven 2-inch tie-overs, and tie-over or replace approximately 34 service lines. This will require open trenching and boring. o New Hope Rd./Sandalwood Cir - Install approximately 150 feet of 2-inch PE with one 2-inch tie-over. Boring required.
