Projects to include roof replacement for buildings 2349 Military Road, Blackstone, VA 23824 & 493 Bakers Row, Blackstone, VA 23824. The Nottoway County Local Redevelopment Authority at Ft. Barfoot is seeking proposals from qualified contractors that can provide General Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation, for roof replacement on county-owned buildings located in Pickett Park/Ft. Barfoot. Projects to include roof replacement for buildings 2349 Military Road, Blackstone, VA 23824 & 493 Baker's Row, Blackstone, VA 23824. Scope of Work: o Tear-off of existing material. o Replace rotten/damaged plywood sheets as needed with OSB board. o Replace felt paper. o Install 36" ice & water shield with metal drip edge. o Reflash chimney and walls. o Add ridge vent. o Use 3-tab single layer asphalt shingles that have fungus guard and a minimum 2-year workmanship warranty and 30-year manufacture warranty. o Use 1 %" roofing nails. o Replace any vent boots. o Contractor to magnetically sweep yard & driveway. o Remove all trash from gutters and job site
