As of January 30, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This project will include in the installation of a Monoclor Residual Control System for the City of Athens Loop 7 elevated water storage tank. Additional construction items include the installation of pre-cast concrete chemical shelters, interconnecting piping and conduit, trenching, and tank modifications necessary to construct a complete automated system for controlling disinfectant residual in the finished drinking water storage tank. The deadline to ask questions is 11/27/2023 5:00 PM CST All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations The project is to be substantially complete within 150 calendar days from the notice to proceed, and shall be fully complete within 150 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Liquidated damages of $300.00 per day shall be assessed for any days in which contract time is exceeded. The City of Athens reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
