Water Treatment Plant Sludge Removal and Disposal Questions and concerns must be received no later than five (5) days prior to the Bid Packet due date. The successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and satisfactory to the Owner as required by Article 5160 V.A.T.C.S The City of Athens is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation or national origin. Each must be clearly labeled on the front sheet indicating "Original" or "Copy". One (1) electronic copy, on a USB drive is also required. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, the Bidder's address, and the name of the project for which the Bid is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder or bidders who, in the opinion of the Owner, offers the bid to the best interest of same
