Site work and paving for a civil project in Newton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of March 13,2024, project was awarded to Reeves Construction Company, awarded amount is $616,294.25. Project Number - 21p-y-004-1-6179 The Work of this project consists of grading, laying base, and paving a 22' wide ditch section road over Milton Miller Road in southern Baker County. Milton Miller Road is an existing dirt road that is 0.66 miles long. Estimated quantities for the above-mentioned work will include 9,065 SY of 6" Soil Cement Base, 960 TONS of 1.5" Asphalt, 2,266 Gal of Primer, 779 LF of Storm Pipes, Grading Complete, Traffic Control, NPDES Measures, Erosion and Sediment Control BMP's, Driveways, Striping, Relocating Mailboxes, Installing New Signs, Clearing and Grubbing, and various other related accessories and appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents. All requests for technical information from Bidders shall send requests to the Engineer by facsimile or email only up to 72 hours prior to bid date. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening. Owner will not engage in unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status, or unrelated disability. Bids from minority- and female-owned organizations are encouraged. The right is reserved by Owner to accept any Bid, to reject any Bid, and to waive irregularities in Bids.
