The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to obtain services for the design, supply and installation of an indoor play structure. Structure to be erected in the newly constructed Recreation Centre in Coaldale. The Town is seeking non-binding expression of interest proposals based on this RFP from those who may wish to enter into a contract with the Town of Coaldale to design, supply and install a large indoor play structure. The vision of this service is to provide as large and intricate a structure as possible within the space provided for ages 12 yrs. and younger. The project to take place as soon as can be scheduled in 2024. The Indoor Play space is located within a brand-new recreation building attached to a new secondary school (18th Avenue) in Coaldale. Adjacent to the space set aside for the Indoor Play structure will be the new home of the Boys and Girls Club Daycare in Coaldale. Located in the large open space design of the "fieldhouse" the future structure will be a focal point to many coming to use the facility for sport, recreation, fitness and daycare services. The "Recreation Centre" is projected to become a hub of activity in the coming years. The facility will play host to all sorts of year-round activities. One of the most unique features being the indoor play structure and its use for both community and daycare. As part of its obligation to the public, the Town will be accepting Proposals to obtain the most suitable company to provide the services needed to design, supply and install the structure.
