The expectation for this Project is to construct industrial rail infrastructure to service the Town's newest industrial park development. The work, unless specifically stated otherwise, includes all materials, products, labour, supervision, management/coordination, and transportation to complete the Project. The successful Proponent shall provide timely and qualified construction services related to the main work items summarized below: 1. Excavation and site grading work, including site clearing and grubbing; topsoil stripping; excavation; compacted fill placement; subgrade preparation; utility crossings; and associated works. 2. CPKC rail main line siding and industrial lead track work, including rail; ties; sub ballast; ballast; joint bars; track bolts, nuts, and lock washers; tie plates; rail anchors; spikes; turnouts; switch stands; derails; bumping post; road crossings; new and extended culvert/drainage crossings; and associated works. 3. Road reconstruction work including concrete and asphalt removals; waste excavation; subgrade preparation, tile drain; granular road base materials, prime and tack coats; hot mix asphalt pavement; storm catch basins, pipe, and outlets; and associated work. 4. Site restoration and landscaping work including topsoil placement; hydro mulch and seed; fencing; signage; and associated work. Deadline for Questions March 1, 2024 at 2:00pm Local Time
