Prime Consultant / Architectural Services, Vancouver Island Region, BC The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals to provide BC Housing with Architectural Services (the "Deliverables") for culturally supportive transitional housing project located on Vancouver Island, BC. Through this RFP process, BC Housing is seeking to enter into a contract (the "Contract") with an experienced, qualified supplier (the "Supplier") to provide the Deliverables. The following are some of the key elements of the Deliverables: Prime Consultant and architectural services including sub-consultants' services to design a 4-storey supportive housing building with a mix of approximately thirty-one (31) studio and one (1) 2-bedroom family-size units for individuals who require and benefit from wrap-around social, health, culturally appropriate and land-based healing supportive services, and activities for the Indigenous Street Family on their path towards healing and recovery from substance misuse and trauma. Proponents shall provide the services as described in Appendix 9 [Project Requirements] and Appendix 8 [Draft Contract, including Schedule A]; Proponents should ensure that they propose a strong, experienced well-balanced project team that includes sufficient resources and depth of experience to effectively undertake all aspects of the project, and to provide timely, comprehensive, and quality deliverables ensuring that design, specifications and drawings meet the requirements of BC Housing Design Guidelines and Construction Standards, BC Housing Commissioning Guidelines, and the program requirements of the future building Operator. Ensuring that Prime Consultant assembles a strong, experienced well-balanced project team that includes sufficient resources and depth of experience to effectively undertake all aspects of the project, and provide timely, comprehensive, and quality deliverables. Ensuring that design, specifications and drawings meet the requirements of BC Housing DGCS, CMHC Minimum Environmental and Accessibility Requirements New Construction, and BC Housing Building Commissioning Guidelines, and the program requirements of the non-profit society intending to operate the future building. Should there be discrepancies between the above-mentioned guidelines and standards, Prime Consultant will be required to seek BC Housing's approval. Proponents must submit a signed Appendix 10 [Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)] to obtain the RFP Appendices containing site-specific details.
