The purpose of this bid is to receive and award a construction contract to build and make operational an emergency generator for Galveston County Municipal District # 12 (MUD- 12) for its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at 2929 Hwy 6 Bayou Vista, Texas. Federal grant dollars will be used in this project. Galveston County and the MUD-12 were awarded federal grant fund to engineer- desigu, purchase, and have installed a emergency generator at the MUD-12 EOC. The 100% engineer-design is complete and has been incorporated as part of this Invitation to Bid. There are no known State Historical Preservation Office (SHPO) concerns on this project. The time stamp clock located in the Purchasing Agent's office shall serve as the official time keeping piece for this solicitation process.
