The COLUMBIA COUNTY solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Structural Engineering Design. All work will follow the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) standards and procedures for Local Agencies including in accordance with WSDOT Local Agency Guideline Manual. The Baileysburg Bridge is federally funded and must adhere to the WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines. However, the replacement of the bridge will be based on the least cost and alternative analysis, which may involve replacing the bridge with an alternative route design that would eliminate the need for a bridge entirely. New single-span prestressed concrete bridge (28'-8" x 174') or construction of new alternative route. Alternative analysis and design. Approach roadway design. Environmental documentation and preparation of permit applications. Structural design for bridges, walls, and other structures. Determination of R/W needs and R/W plan preparation. Removal of Existing Bridge.
