The project is located at 1720 Oak Street, Milton WA 98354. The Fife Public Schools Early Learning Center project consists of a renovation of approximately 23,000 sf of the former Endeavor Intermediate School into an Early Learning Center. The remaining portion of the building is currently occupied as the District Central Office which will be occupied during the entire project. The work of the Contract will include, but not be limited to, on-site and off-site work including earthwork, utilities, landscaping, renovation of a wood framed former intermediate school, and construction of a new wood framed maintenance shed. The anticipated cost range for the project is between $5 million and $5.5 million. Bid Security, in an amount of 5% of the Bid, must accompany each bid, and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total base bid, made payable to the Fife Public Schools. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hour set for bid opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 60 calendar days. The Board of Directors of the Fife Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
