**As of March 21, 2024, the project was awarded to Quigg Bros., Inc. , with an awarded amount of $1,719,249.** Site Address: D-2000 Road at mile post 4.6 Site Directions: From Forks, drive 3 miles north on US 101 to MP 194.8 and turn left onto the D-2000 Road. Continue on for 4.6 miles to the project site. The project consists of, but is not limited to, providing all materials, labor and equipment to remove an existing 150-foot timber bridge, to include removal of timber wingwalls, backwalls, pile caps, piles, intermediate piers, and disposal of treated materials. After removal of existing bridge, the project consists of, but is not limited to the purchase and Installation of a new 175-foot steel and concrete bridge, pipe pile driving, sheet pile driving, construction of fill including MSE wall, riprap slope protection, approach work, Hot Mix Asphalt paving, bridge guardrail installation, and acquisition and application of erosion control material. The estimated cost of the project is $1,296,387, and the required substantial completion date is October 11, 2024. The project is located at the D-2000 Road at mile post 4.6 Section 23, Township 29 North, Range 12 West W.M.; Lat 4800.374, Long -124.47924 The apprentice labor hours required for this project are 15% of the total labor hours. - The undersigned agrees to utilize this level of apprentice participation. The cost value associated with meeting the apprentice utilization requirement is included in the Base Bid. If the goal is not met, a proportional deduction of the cost value will be applied through a formal change order process if Good Faith Effort documentation is not presented, per Supplemental Conditions 12.02 (4). East Fork Dickey River Bridge Removal: The project consists of, but is not limited to. providing all materials, labor and equipment to remove and disposal of an existing 150-footlong timber bridge, removal of timber wingwaits, backwalls, pile caps, piles, and intermediate piers. East Fork Dickey River Bridge Installation: The project consists of, but is not limited to the procurement and installation of a new 175-foot steel and concrete bridge, procurement and installation of pipe piles and sheet piles, procurement and construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining walls, fill, riprap slope protection, approach work, hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving, and acquisition and application of erosion control material 2.2 DESIGN STANDARDS Workmanship, fabrication, and shop connections will be in accordance with the current edition of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Standard Specifications (AASHTO) for Highway Bridges.
