The work includes selective demolition, furniture relocation, site work, pavements, concrete, metal fabrications, railings, carpentry, building insulation, roofing, sheet metal, firestopping, sealants, doors and windows, gypsum boards, storefronts, hardware, drywall, ceramic tile, acoustic ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, painting, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, hazardous materials abatement, fire sprinklers, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarms, as called for in the Plans and Technical Specifications. In accordance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, this proposal is accompanied with a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total amount proposed. The Bidder shall use the attached Surety Bid Bond form. If the Bidder elects to use other acceptable forms of security listed in Section 2.8 of the General Provisions, the Bidder shall deposit the bid security with the Facilities Business Office prior to the bid due date. The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects when in the Director's opinion such rejections or waiver will be for the best interest of the public.
