Renovation of a military facility in Fort Hood, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) of Fort Cavazos requires contractors to convert an existing structure to a Brigade level headquarters. Requirements of the proposed contract will be completed in strict accordance with all the terms and conditions, special contract requirements, specifications, drawings, attachments and exhibits within the contract or as incorporated by reference. This requirement will be achieved through the implementation of a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. All questions and requests for information (RFI) must be received NO LATER THAN 03 June 2024 at 2:00 P.M. CDT. An amendment will then be issued with all questions and answers. A Bid Bond is required (see section 00100, FAR Clause 52.228-1). Performance and Payment Bonds are required (see section 00700, FAR Clause 52.228-15). As required by FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is betw een $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Privatized Utility (American Water) is not required for this Project, therefore a proposal will not be provided. Privatized Utility ( Dominion Energy) Proposal dated 26 February 2024 has been extended through 17 August 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
