Reference Number 0000341950 Question Acceptance Deadline 02/26/2024 12:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes The City of Steamboat Springs is currently soliciting Statement of Qualifications from professional consulting firms interested in providing Facility Condition Assessments, Building Energy Audits, Energy Benchmarking, Building Solar Feasibility Investigations, Decarbonization planning, and Capital Planning Services for the city's current building portfolio. The assessment and investigations are intended to develop an accurate, objective, standardized database of city facility data. The selected firm will use this database of city facility data to develop a city-wide Facilities Capital Plan that can project needs for the short-term (city's 6-year Capital Improvements Program) and long-term (over 30 years into the future) and can be updated by city staff. Along with the fiscal planning, a detailed sustainability plan will be created to align City of Steamboat Springs's goals with the adopted Routt County Climate Action Plan. With the data created through these processes, the City of Steamboat Springs will then create a Facilities Master Plan as a future scope of work. The City of Steamboat Springs currently has a diverse portfolio of 112 facilities that vary greatly in type, size, age, and use. The City's building inventory includes city administrative buildings, public works and utility shops, fire stations, a police station, historic buildings, parks and recreation operations, transportation services, and wastewater treatment. A unique approach will be required to effectively evaluate each building type and priority. All available facility records such as as-built plans, maintenance records, and other materials deemed necessary will be available for the project. Please see the attached list of the City of Steamboat Springs facilities for square footage information and the type of each building to be included in this project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and proposals, to waive informalities or irregularities, in the proposals received, and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, conditional or qualified proposals, and to accept the bid/proposal which, in the City's judgment, best serves the interest of the City of Steamboat Springs and its citizens.
