Pre-Qualification: Yes The Project Also Includes Full Depth Removal and Replacement of Concrete Pavement in Roadways and Driveways, Full Depth Removal and Replacement of Asphaltic Pavement, Curb and Gutter Removal and Replacement, Sidewalk Removal and Replacement. Multi-plate Storm Sewer Improvements Base Bid: Station 38+66 to Station 43+17 Alternate Bid: Station 43+17 to Station 43+63 All in Accordance With Specifications on File in the Office of the Director of Public Works. The Project Includes Removal of Existing 156-inch Corrugated Metal Multi-plate Storm Sewer, Construction of New 120"x144" Box Culvert and 5x16-ft Manhole Structure, Cofferdam, Bypass Pumping, Site Restoration, Erosion Control, Traffic Control, and Any Other Incidental Items Necessary to Complete Said Work as Shown on the Plans and These Specifications. Each Bid Must Contain the Full Name of Every Person or Company Interested in the Same and Must Be Accompanied by a Contract and Bid Bond, a Certified Check, or a Bank Cashier's Check, in the Sum of Five Per Cent (5%) of the Bid, Payable to the City of Kenosha as a Guarantee That if the Bid is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into and Its Performance Properly Secured Within Fifteen (15) Days of the Award of Contract. Should Any Bid Be Rejected, Such Check Will Be Forthwith Returned to the Bidder, and Should Any Bid Be Accepted, Such Check Will Be Returned Upon the Timely and Proper Execution and Securing of the Contract. In Case the Successful Bidder Shall Fail to Execute the Contract and Performance Bond, the Amount of the Bid Bond or Check Shall Be Forfeited to the City as Liquidated Damages. Bidders Must Comply With the Requirements Included in Section 5.001 of the Code of General Ordinances for the City of Kenosha Regarding Protection in Public Bidding. The Successful Bidder Shall Be Required to Furnish Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance as Enumerated in the Specifications. The City of Kenosha Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, or to Accept Any Bid Considered Most Advantageous to the City of Kenosha.
