Scope of Work Fabrication, delivery, and installation of floating fishing pier. The pier shall be a T-shape with the main pier measuring 48 feet by 6 feet and two (2) end sections measuring 6 feet by 6 feet. Pier Specifications A. All framing to be hot dipped galvanized steel. B. Decking shall be high density polyethylene decking (HPDE #2 Plastic or better) Renew Plastics decking with stainless hardware or equal. C. Floats shall be constructed of high-density polyethylene shell and filled with expanded in-place polystyrene foam. Eagle float drums or equal. D. Treated 2x2 wood fascia. E. Rubber P style rub rail and end corner bumpers. Taylormade or equal. F. Cast aluminum 12 cleats. G. Wheel kits to be new rubber tires that will be foam filled. H. Diamond plate ADA access plate at approach. Note: Alternative dock designs and/or materials submitted for this project will be reviewed by the Town of Goodman and award made in what is the Town's best interests. The Town of Goodman reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids at its discretion. Prevailing wage rates will be required for this project for any work completed on-site. Offsite fabrication of the dock is not subject to this provision. All work must be completed by April 26, 2024.
