The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting bids for the Approach Girder Spans Lead Abatement and Painting project at the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. The scope of work involves installation of Class A containment, blasting removal of lead paint and painting of the approach girder spans and floor system. This bridge spans the Hudson River between Kingston and Rhinebeck, New York. All work shall include maintenance and protection of traffic, access, containment installation, lead abatement equipment, disposal of hazardous waste and furnishing and applying of all paint. No equipment shall be permitted on the roadway deck surface. Construction equipment shall be staged below the bridge. CR Number:2106556 Bid Deposit: 25% bid bond or $500,000 certified or bank cashiers check is required to validate the proposers bid. Contract term: Completion date of October 31, 2024 Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6%
