The nature and scope of this project is: A non-exclusive continuing services painting maintenance contract for municipal water and stormwater facilities including all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the Work, including but not limited to industrial grade coating products, pressure washing, water blasting, sandblasting, taping, scraping, grinding, wire brushing, rust removal, cleaning, priming, crack repair, concrete repair, stucco repair, and other surface preparation as needed, painting, protection of adjacent facilities, and safe access for performing the Work. Facilities to be painted under this contract may include, but not be limited to, interior and/or exterior of concrete block structures (CBS)/buildings, interior and/or exterior of poured concrete structures including potable water holding structures, interior and/or exterior of chemical rooms including containment areas, fiber glass structures and piping, ductile iron pipe (DIP), PVC pipe, steel pipe, pumps and motors, fire hydrants, DIP wellhead piping, steel well casings, and other facilities and components as described by the Bidding Documents. All questions concerning the bid shall be directed to Scott Pokorny, Utilities, in writing, by email(scottp@jupiter.fl.us). Questions delivered by email should contain the name of the Project/Bid in the subject heading of the email and be sent with a read receipt to ensure successful receipt of the email by the Town. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the estimated value for the 1st year contract term must a company each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
