The City of Hillsboro ("City") is building a fiber-to-the-premise (FTTP) network throughout the Hillsboro community (The HiLight project). This network will serve multiple purposes but will primarily be leveraged to provide the HiLight broadband internet service to homes and businesses. The next build phase will include areas to be constructed in the Glencoe neighborhood (Glencoe Phase 1). The City will acquire some of the materials for this phase that have a long lead time. To minimize the impact of material availability on the overall rollout plan, the City is issuing this solicitation to find qualified organizations to provide the materials required to construct this next phase of Hillsboro's HiLight project. The materials include fiber cables, handholes, splice enclosures, and splitter cabinets.
