This Contract is funded, in part, by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration (FTA.) and is sub ject to the requirements set forth by the FTA Master Agreement THIS PROJECT IS A COVERED PROJECT SUBJECT TO THE CITY OF SEATTLE'S COMMUNITY WORKFORCE AGREEMENT (CWA) AND PRIORITY HIRE SMC 20.37. With the support of the mayor and City Council, the City of Seattle administers pro grams that support racial and economic equity through contract ing. Priority Hire is one of these programs. Priority Hire provides people living in economically dis tressed communities, women, and people of color access to work on the city's construction projects. It gives contractors access to these skilled workers. PROJECT LOCATION: City of Seattle on Stewart Street from 5th Ave to Boren Ave, Virginia Street from 3rd Ave to Boren Ave, Boren Ave from Stewart Street to Virginia Street, Fairview Ave from Virginia Street/Boren Avenue to Eastlake .Avenue, Eastlake Avenue from Fairview Avenue to 11 th Avenue NE, 11th Avenue NE from Eastlake Avenue NE to NE 43rd Street, NE 43rd Street from Roosevelt Way NE to 12th Ave NE, and Roosevelt Way NE from NE 43rd Street to Eastlake Ave NE PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The RapidRide J Line Bus Rapid Transit Project will construct infrastructure for a Bus Rapid. Transit network from 3rd Ave to NE 45th St via Stewart St, Virginia St, Boren Ave, Fairview Ave N, Eastlake Ave E, 11th Ave NE, Roosevelt Way NE, and NE 43rd. St. Base bid work includes earth work, pavement and sidewalk removal/restoration, construct tion of new stations, ADA ra mps, driveway, signing, channelization, overhead trolley system pole and wire removal and installation, traffic, signals, lighting, land scaping, water mam and water service reconnection and renew al, storm drainage, and other proj ect elements. For purpose of the Bidders/Subcontractor list, this project includes Electrical and Rebar work. A/E $86,100,000. Tacoma Water intends to award a contract for a fish passage engineering consultant to support and prepare the fish passage facility for full-scale operation. Subject line to read: TW24-0018F-Fish Passage Facility Upgrade The Fish Passage Facility Upgrade project would prepare the FPF for full-scale operation as envisioned in Tacoma Waters Habitat Conservation Plan. Objectives of the project are prioritized to (1) improve worker safety, (2) reduce fish injury and mortality, and (3) improve the facilitys efficiency. This will be achieved by hiring a consultant to assess the facility and suggest a suite of improvements and alternatives for Tacoma and stakeholders to consider and approve for design. Actual construction will occur incrementally and concurrently with downstream passage construction at HHD. Project success will be measured by the FPFs ability to return salmon safely and efficiently to the upper Green River watershed in conformance with the latest standards 1 2, Tacoma Waters legal requirements, and through consultation with regulators and fisheries comanagers.
