Renovation of a municipal facility in Xenia, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 240-square-foot municipal facility.
Bids are to be submitted on the following proposal: to provide all the necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of an expansion to the entrance of the Xenia Justice Center located at 101 N. Detroit Street, Xenia, Ohio, all as directed by the City and in accordance with the Conditions, Specifications, Plans and/or Drawings Pursuant to ORC Section 153.54, no bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid -OR- a cashier's check or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the City of Xenia, or a letter of credit issued in accordance with ORC Chapter 1305., in the sum of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid. The bid guaranty or bid bond shall be enclosed with the sealed bid. The attention of Bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions contained in ORC Chapter 4115 governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on this Project and ORC 153.59 regarding nondiscrimination. The City of Xenia reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any discrepancies or irregularities in the Bids. The Bid will be awarded, in the City's discretion, to the lowest and best Bidder. The Bid also contains alternates, which may be awarded in whole, part or none, in the City's sole discretion.
