Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bloomer, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
For pulverizing, final grading, shouldering, paving, and striping of approximately2,270 feet on Woodard Road. Project limits will start at HWY 40 and head south ending at 20th Avenue intersection. The hot mix shall be placed at 11-foot lanes and compressed to a depth of 3-inches in 2 lifts. Tack is required between lifts. Bids shall include shouldering at 4-feet on both sides of the road. Bids will need to include tac oil, adjusting manholes and center line striping. Driveways and mailboxes shall be winged out with asphalt. Driveways will need to be adjusted and realigned with existing materials. Quote pulverizing on price per square yard, total square yards, and total cost. Quote asphalt price per ton, tonnage, and total cost. Quote gravel shouldering price per ton, tonnage, and total cost. Proof of insurance is required. All contractors are responsible for traffic control during the project. Paving must be completed by September 1st, 2024. The City of Bloomer Common Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bids received and to accept the bid most favorable bid to the City of Bloomer.
