Work to be provided on a Purchase Order type basis for each task and completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director within the time allocated as mutually agreed to at the start of the assignment. Scope of work shall include but not be limited to: Provide assistance on various projects being designed in-house or ability to design complete projects, including intersections and sidewalks, storm drainage, ADA compliance, utility design, including gas, water, electrical, sanitary and storm sewer, and general infrastructure, including street trees and their effect on infrastructure as well as noxious weed identification and remediation. Knowledge of historical buildings and new facilities a plus. Provide complete design services for Projects identified by City Staff, such as new building construction and site development, parking lot grading and surfacing, and parks and trail systems. Firms should have the ability to sub-consult with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Firms as need for new and or existing buildings. Be able to provide construction ready drawings and specifications for projects. Assist in providing quantity and cost estimates. Ability to acquire grants and granting assistance.
