As of May 29,2024, project was awarded to Performance Builders and Roofers, awarded amount is $479,902.50. The scope of the project is for design and installation of ADA compliant curb cuts, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, concrete slabs, and detectable warnings at various locations within the public right of way throughout the City of Trinidad by removing barriers, and generally bringing these areas into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act 2010. Approximately 34 various ADA curb cuts, located in 11 intersections. The CONTRACTOR will commence the work required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the NOTICE TO PROCEED and will complete the same within THREE HUNDRED FORTY (340) calendar days unless the period for completion is extended otherwise by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS All bids will be evaluated, and selections made as soon as possible after the bid opening. Award of bid is subject to approval by the Trinidad City Council. Bids shall be valid for a minimum of sixty days following the bid opening. The City of Trinidad reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award orders for the items described either in whole or in part, if it seems to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
