Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Drumheller, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Along a six (6) kilometre stretch of roadway from Rosedale to Wayne there are eleven (11) metal bridges carrying vehicular traffic over the winding Rosebud River. The Town of Drumheller owns and maintains three (3) of these bridges (Bridge 9, Bridge 10, and Bridge 11). The existing wooden deck on Bridge 10 (BF 08935) is nearing its end of life. The replacement of the bridge deck will extend the life of Bridge 10. The existing deck of Bridge 10 is in very poor condition. It is unknown whether there is damage to the sub-structure as well.
