The current fuel farm (AVGAS 100LL) has reached its end of life and needs to be replaced with a modern above ground fueling system that complies with current CSA B836:22 National Standard of Canada: Storage, handling, and dispensing of aviation fuel at aerodromes. At this time the new fuel tanks will be filled with Jet-A1 and 100 LL AVGAS. The new turn-key fuel system will be capable of allowing pilots to purchase and dispense Jet-A1 and 100 LL AVGAS without the need of an attendant. The new payment system will include a software solution that will allow the Town to remotely mange the fuel system, including the ability to generate detailed financial reports, update fuel prices etc. The new fuel farm will incorporate the following at minimum: one (1) 25kL double walled fuel tank, one (1) 50kL double walled fuel tank, The tanks will be situated within the existing fuel farm area. If the area needs to be expanded to accommodate the new tanks this will be reflected in the design. Separate cabinets for Jet-A1 and 100 LL AVGAS One (1) new cabinet is required for the 100LL AVGAS. One (1) new cabinet is required for the Jet-A1 fuel. Both fuel cabinets shall also be connected to the new Point of Sale (POS) Installation and commissioning of a new Point of Sale (POS) on the Airport's network, and any software that is required. Ability to operate in all-weather environments between -40 Celsius to +40 Celsius.
