Paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Woodbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. Region #14, after review of all factors, including the terms and conditions, qualifications and price, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or any part thereof. Region 14 also may waive defects in the same, or accept any proposal, or combination of proposals, deemed to be in the best interest of the Region. All bids must completely filled out when submitted. Bids must be firm for a period of sixty (60) days following the opening. Bid withdrawal may be made only with the consent of Region 14. Bids faxed or electronically mailed are not acceptable. Regional School District #14 is not responsible for the delays in the delivery of the mail by the United States Postal Service, private couriers, or the interschool mail system. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to insure that its proposal reaches the appropriate destination prior to the required date and time. Provide loam and seed at all edges of the new asphalt parking areas, driveways, and curbing. 47' X 70' ~3,290 sf Remove and dispose of existing four (4) basketball hoops, poles, backboards and bases. Dig out any remaining concrete and dispose of it. Remove existing asphalt and install 5" of topsoil and seed it. Regional School District #14 is requesting Bids for full depth reclamation, fine grade, and compaction of base material, paving of 2 (two) courses of hot mix asphalt class I, 2" of binder, 1.5” of wear/top course on all driveway, parking lots and walkways. Also included in the bid specifications; replacement of 4 catch basins lid to match existing, replacement of curbing as noted and line striping parking lot to meet existing conditions.
