The project entails sanitary sewer and drainage infrastructure improvements within the east section of the Leisure Circle neighborhood. The scope includes: Sanitary Sewer Installation: Installation of three (3) doghouse-style manholes and one (1) traditional-style manhole. Installation of approximately 595 linear feet (LF) of new sewer mains. Installation of approximately 250 LF of sewer laterals. Grout filling of approximately 650 LF of existing sewer mains and three (3) existing manholes. Installation of necessary bypass piping to maintain service during construction. Stormwater Drainage Improvements: Replacement of approximately 30 LF of 12-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). Replacement of 24-inch RCP and four (4) associated drainage inlets. Please refer to Leisure Circle Sewer Replacement Plans and Leisure Circle Sewer Replacement Bidder must include with their submittal a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety or a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Port Orange, Florida in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposed bid. If awarded, the Bidder must also be able to obtain both payment and performance bonds equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the project value from a surety company licensed in Florida and must submit proof of their present bonding capacity with their submitted bid package in the form of a current (not older than 3 months) letter from Bidders bonding agent. Bidder's failure to include the bonding capacity letter with bid package may result in rejection of Bidder's submittal.
