Site work for a fire / police facility in Port Orange, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

Restoration of the existing shooting range berms located off Pioneer Trail. This project is to restore the front slope of the berm to ensure long-term stability, erosion control, and continued safe operation of the range. Bidders must be a commercial entity licensed to do business in the State of Florida and perform the services identified herein. Bidders shall be a certified General Contractor or a certified Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor properly registered and licensed to provide the services identified in the scope of work by all applicable state and local agencies. Question Deadline 10/31/2025 at 5:00 PM ET All questions shall be directed in writing to Buyer, Rita Cooper rcooper@port-orange.org and purchdiv@portorange.org and reference Questions on ITB #25-19 Police Department Shooting Range Berm Restoration in the subject line. Bidder must include with their submittal a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety or a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Port Orange, Florida in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposed bid. If awarded, the Bidder must also be able to obtain both payment and performance bonds equal to one hundred percent (100%) of project value from a surety company licensed in Florida and must submit proof of their present bonding capacity with their submitted bid package in the form of a current (not older than 3 months) letter from Bidder's bonding agent. Bidder's failure to include the bonding capacity letter with bid package may result in rejection of Bidder's submittal. REGRADING OF FRONT SLOPE - Import, place and grade fill material necessary to achieve final grades as shown on Sheets C1 & C2 and quantified. -Reshape and stabilize the front face of the existing earthen berm to restore the intended slope profile and surface condition. -Grading work must ensure consistent slope, proper drainage, and adequate compaction INSTALLATION OF GEOWEB SYSTEM Furnish and install a geocell/geoweb soil stabilization system on the regraded front slope. The Geoweb System includes all work, equipment, and materials necessary for the installation ofthe GEOWEB GW30V6 Panels Filled with topsoil, 8-inch solid wall PVC Deadman, Atra Speed Stakes, TP-225 Tendons, Nonwoven geotextile separation layer, and the geotextile liner membrane. o Installation must be performed per manufacturer specifications, including proper anchoring and infill as shown on Sheets C1 & C2 and Attachment 4 RESODDING - Import and fill Geoweb Panels with 6-inches of topsoil. - Provide and install rolled Bermuda sod over the geoweb system and any disturbed areas. - Include soil preparation and any necessary watering to ensure vegetation takes hold.
