Ref. #: PROJ-25-131 Halifax Health is requesting bid proposals from qualified contractors to remove and replace the existing 200-ton air-cooled chiller serving the Halifax Health Port Orange Campus, located at 1041 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, FL 32127. Question Deadline 09/19/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Questions through Online Portal The replacement equipment shall meet the design basis specifications (Trane RTAF or approved equal York YVAA). Coordination Coordinate all work with the Halifax Health Facilities and Engineering Team. Labor & Materials Furnish all labor, supervision, materials, and tools needed to complete the project. Demolition & Removal Demolish, remove, and dispose of the existing chiller in compliance with all applicable codes and environmental regulations. Installation Install and connect the new 200-ton air-cooled chiller, including all required accessories, piping, and electrical connections. Piping Modifications Modify chilled water piping as needed, including valves, supports, and insulation (minimum R-19 with aluminum jacketing, sealed air- and water-tight). Electrical & Controls Provide all electrical work, including power connections, controls integration (Siemens), and required low-voltage work. Plumbing & Core Drilling Perform all necessary plumbing work and core drilling. Rigging & Placement Provide vibration isolation, hoisting, and rigging for proper equipment placement. Permitting & Code Compliance Obtain all necessary permits and comply with local codes and standards. Commissioning Commission and test the system to ensure proper operation and performance per design specifications. Documentation & Training Provide O&M manuals and training for Halifax Health staff. Owner-Purchased Option Sales tax should be included in the base bid for the chiller (likely an owner-purchased option).
