Lower Macungie Township will receive sealed bids for its 2024 Roadway Polymer-Modified Emulsified Asphalt Paving System (Micro Surfacing) Program, (28 Roadways/148,257 SY) (Single Application Type A) and the application of 2,000 GAL. Polymer Modified Crack Seal. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Publication 408, Section 103.04 requirements. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Bids.
