This invitation to quote is to establish a term contract for grounds maintenance at Family Practice Physicians (FP) owned and operated by Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH) and located a 10301 Glacier Hwy. Juneau, AK. Grounds maintenance will be performed at a minimum of every two (2) weeks, May 15th thru September 30th. The contract will be in effect from May 15, 2024 through June 30, 2025 with an automatic annual renewal period for three (3) additional years, with the final expiration date of June 30, 2028. Contractor may provide written notice to terminate the contract without penalty providing the notice is given sixty (60) days prior to the upcoming renewal period. The City reserves the right to determine suitability of services offered. All services are subject to approval by the City. Any services rejected because of non-conformity of the terms and conditions or specifications of this contract, whether held by the City or returned, will be at the Contractor's risk and expense. SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, supplies and disposal to perform required services every two (2) weeks, beginning each May 15th and ending September 30th. Groundskeeping services will include the following: Edging, Weed eating around building and property perimeter, Mowing grass, Trimming hedges, Pulling weeds, Pruning trees, Planting flowers as needed, Renewing bark beds, Fertilizer will be added to lawn, trees shrubs and perennials as needed, Disposal of yard waste and found trash in a legal and permitted site.
