Renovation of a mixed-use development in Throop, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of May 31, 2024, project was awarded to to General Construction – Scandale Associated Builders at $209,900, Plumbing Construction – Scranton Electric Heating and Cooling at $16,396, Mechanical Construction – Scranton Electric Heating and Cooling at $18,397, Electrical Construction – Everon Electrical Contractors at $18,488. A total award amount of $263,181.** The project consists of, but is not limited to, replacement of the dishwasher system and addition of a handwashing sink in the dishwashing area at the Secondary Center; replacement of (3) kettles and (1) refrigerator as well as addition of (1) freezer in the kitchen at the Secondary Center. Bids shall be submitted on the form provided and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check equal to ten percent of the total price submitted inclusive of add alternates. The Mid Valley School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids Any conflicts in, or questions pertaining to, the Bidding/Contract Documents should be immediately brought to the Architect/Engineer's attention. If the Bidder, prior to the submission of his Bid, fails to call the Architect/Engineer's attention to the existence of any apparent ambiguity, inconsistency, or error in the Bidding/Contract Documents, his Bid will be conclusively presumed to have been based upon the interpretation of such ambiguity or inconsistency, or the directions correcting such error, which may subsequently be given by the Architect/Engineer. 3.2.2 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which must be received by the Architect/Engineer at least five (5) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Bidders' requests shall include, at a minimum, a detailed written statement that indicates the specific documents in need of clarification or interpretation, and the nature of the clarification or interpretation requested. 3.2.3 No interpretation of the meaning of the Bidding/Contract Documents will be made to any bidder orally. Question Deadline 04/08/2024 Every written request shall be addressed to BDA Architects, LLC, 200 Abington Executive Park, Suite 101, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania 18411, Attention: Donald J. Flynn, President, email: djf@bdaarchitects.com. 3.2.5 Interpretations, corrections and changes of the Bidding/Contract Documents will be made by written addenda to the Bidding/Contract Documents which, if issued, will be transmitted to all prospective bidders (at the respective addresses furnished for such purposes), not later than three (3) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Interpretations, corrections and changes of the Bidding/Contract Documents made in any other manner will not be binding, and Bidders shall not rely upon them.
