Site work and paving for a road / highway in Throop, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of asphalt milling, asphalt base repairs, asphalt scratch course and wearing course overlay, asphalt curb, traffic control during construction and other related work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA PREVAILING WAGE RATES Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex.
