Reference Number 0000267598 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/04/30 12:00:00 PM CDT The Rural Municipality of Gimli is accepting tenders for grass cutting in various public reserves, parks and playgrounds throughout the municipality for a minimum 3-year term, with an option to renew for additional 1 year term at Council's discretion. The contracts will require the provision of suitable equipment, operator, fuel, etc. for the cutting and trimming of grass beginning approximately the week of May 13th. The Contracts will be awarded on an area-by-area basis. Bid prices are based on a per cut basis and include trimming and removal of grass. The Contractor should expect 12 to 14 cuts per year. Contractor's experience and past performance will be a consideration of this tender. The contracts will require the provision of suitable equipment, operator, fuel, etc. for the cutting and trimming of grass beginning approximately the week of May 13th. The Contracts will be awarded on an area-by-area basis. Bid prices are based on a per cut basis, and include trimming and removal of grass. Areas that include playgrounds containing pea gravel around play structures must be roto-tilled before each long weekend to control weeds. The Contractor should expect 12 to 14 cuts per year. The Owner may request that the successful bidder provide and maintain with the Owner a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price in a form satisfactory to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, to waive irregularities and informalities at his discretion and to accept the tender which the Owner deems to be in its best interest.
