Site work for a municipal facility in Manteno, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The Village will receive Request for Proposals for an estimated 15, 500 +/- square feet of "natural" grass turf installation. The subject property is located in the southwest corner of the Square on Second. (location is provided in handout). Note: There is a fence around three (3) sides of the project. Questions can be directed to Jim Hanley, Superintendent of Public Works at 815-929-4802. 1. Estimated 15,500 +/- square feet of "natural" grass turfinstallation. a. Location is the SW corner of the Square on Second (location provided in handout) Note: there is a fence around 3 sides ofthe project. b. Turfshould be an athletic grade and natural color c. Keep the current elevations ofthe lot and match concrete sidewalks 2. Remove sod and excavate 3" of dirt and haul off at contractor's expense. 3. Install rated and approved landscape fabric. 4. Install 3" oflimestone screening, grade and compact. 5. Install approved turfto manufacture specifications and industry standards. 6.
