The County Highway 9 (Manteno-Deselm Rd.) improvement begins approximately 0.10 mile east of US 45/52 and continues easterly along Manteno-Deselm Rd. approximately 0.13 mile east of Spruce St. The work consists of roadway reconstruction of CH 9 (Manteno-Deselm Rd) to a three lane suburban roadway with 12' wide travel lanes, 14' wide flush two-way left turn lane, and 12' wide shoulders. Other major work items include pavement removal, earthwork, aggregate subgrade, combination curb and gutter, driveway entrance reconstruction, pavement marking, storm sewer installation, box culvert extension, traffic signal installation, shared use path installation and seeding.
