Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manteno, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Phase I of the Legacy Park Improvements shall include the expansion of the south parking lot, resurfacing of the existing south parking lot, adjustments to the existing storm sewer structures, installation of a new shared-use path from the south parking lot to the existing pond, and grading of drainage channel. Future improvements as part of Phase II will include excavation for additional pond area and grading and shaping of berms at the west end of the park. Only qualified Contractors will be allowed to receive Plans and bid on this project. A "Statement of Experience" may be requested in order to receive the Bid Documents. The Village of Manteno reserves the right to only issue Bid Documents to Contractors who are regarded as qualified. 3. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions". 4. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals contained in the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions". 5. The Village of Manteno may disqualify a bidder for outstanding debts to the Village. 6. Submission of a bid shall be conclusive assurance and warranty the bidder has examined the plans and understands all requirements for the performance of work. The bidder will be responsible for all errors in the proposal resulting from failure or neglect to conduct an in-depth examination. The Awarding Authority will, in no case be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or changes in anticipated profits resulting from such failure or neglect of the bidder. Description The work shall consist of excavating and stockpiling the existing topsoil from areas that will be disturbed by excavation work for construction of parking lot pavement, shared use path, and other park elements. Topsoil depths may vary onsite. Geotechnical report with soil boring analysis is included for reference as part of these specification.
