Village of Manteno is requesting proposals for construction of a 66x135 pole barn. The proposal will include excavation, concrete, electrical, etc. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive technicalities. Questions: Jim Hanley, 815-929-4821. Start to finish construction of a pole barn frame building including: a. Excavation b. Concrete c. Electric ( lights, switches (2), outlets (12), lights (15) d. Post frame construction, labor and material e. Garage doors 2, man doors 2 f. Approved plans and stamped truss design (based off of provided example in packet) g. Specify all materials for building 2. Complete construction of building structure including all labor and materials needed 3. Provide stamped plans upon the acceptance of the bid 4. Construction for 66'x 135' will include a. Excavating of piers and slab b. Installing 6" of CA6 road mix--compacted c. Concrete piers 5.5 bag mix d. All wood framing/ trusses--clear span width e. Pre-painted--Metal siding and roofing (Grade 80 Steel) with the color approved by the Village f. 1' overhangs with 6" Fascia, soffit and gutters/ downspouts g. Insulation spray R-4 on the ceiling h. 6" concrete floor OzFlat (4500 psi Ozinga mix) or equivalent i. 10 mil vapor barrier with 10 gauge wire mat j. Installing 2 14x14 overhead doors with commercial openers k. Installing 2 3/0 steel service doors l. Installing 15 LED 200 watt lights with switches by exterior doors m. Installing 6 outlets throughout the building n. Connecting power to existing electrical box 75' from building location and installing a lOOamp service box 5. The attached design is for reference to bid this project 6. Workmanship is to be guaranteed for 1 year 7. All material guarantees will be transferred to the Village of Manteno 8.
