This Project Consists of Bituminous Seal Coat and Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course Accompanying this proposal is a certified check or bid Bond in the amount of 10% made payable to the municipality as a proposal guarantee which, it is understood, will be forfeited in case the contractor fails to comply with the requirement of the proposal. If designated as the successful bidder, the contractor will begin work on the date specified in the notice to proceed. Or as otherwise provided in the special requirements and will complete all work on or before September 14,2024. If all work is not completed on time, liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate of $1,000.00 per additional calendar day. The Bidder and all subcontractors must be prequalified by electronically for the type of project work specified in order to bid the project, and electronically prequalification certificates must be submitted by the Bidder and all subcontractors. No bid may be withdrawn after the above-specified date for receiving, opening, and reading of bids, except as specifically may be provided by law. Maidencreek Township, Berks County, reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items.
