Site work for a water / sewer project in Darwell, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Darwell Lagoon Commission (DLC) wishes to obtain proposals from qualified Proponents for the construction of a new lift station for a wastewater transmission line along the north and south sides of Lake Isle. Currently all wastewater from the communities around Lake Isle is hauled to the Darwell Lagoon. A transmission line spanning approximately 30.8 km from the Lake Isle communities to the Darwell Lagoon will be constructed. This will require the construction of a Lift Station. The location of the lift station is close to the intersection of Highway 633 and Range Road 52. The intent of this Request For Qualification (RFQ) is to seek qualified submissions from Proponents with proven experience in the construction of similar sized wastewater transmission lines. Through this Request for Qualifications, the DLC seeks to ensure that companies that bid on this Contract have the experience, skill, ability, resources, bonding, integrity, and safety requirements needed to complete the specific work of this project. Major work items for this contract will include the following (approximation): a) Precast concrete wet well b) Standby emergency generator c) Pumping equipment d) HVAC equipment e) Process piping and valves f) Associated electrical, instrumentation, and controls g) Commissioning of lift station h) Connection to forcemain and low-pressure systems i) Building and foundation for generator and controls j) Access road to lift station Documents can be obtained from https://mpe.bidsandtenders.ca/
