Lower Macungie Township will receive sealed bids for its MS4 - Spring Creek Road Riparian Buffer Installation Project. The project includes but not limited to the following: Furnish and installing 340 trees and restoration of disturbed areas. Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 AM (prevailing time) on May 10, 2024. Bids results will be made available on after bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements stated in the bid documents. Performance Bonds will be required from the successful bidder in the full amount of the annual contract price as started in the bid documents. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. The project was financed, in part, by a grant from the federal Department of Treasury, under the administration of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. The work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items: installing 340 trees and restoration of disturbed areas. All work will occur within Lower Macungie Township property and within the Limits of Disturbance as shown on the Contract Drawings, along with provisions for all necessary erosion and sediment controls.
