The Gurnee District 56, a School District in Lake County, Illinois, invites interested parties to submit a bid proposal for the Spaulding School 2024 Pavement Improvements Project. Description of Work: The work for which proposals are invited to bid on consists of, in general, but shall not be limited to, the following: Pavement removal, aggregate base course, hot-mix asphalt binder course, hot-mix asphalt surface course, selective sidewalk removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, site lighting improvements, landscape restoration and other associated improvements. Location of Work: The work is located at the Spaulding Elementary School in Gurnee Illinois Contractor Prequalification: All prime bidders shall submit a copy of their applicable IDOT Prequalification certifications with the bid. Wages of Employees: Not less than the current prevailing rate of wages as found by the Illinois Department of Labor or determined by a court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract. Bid Security: Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Bank Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of Five percent (5%) of the total bid amount made payable to the Gurnee District 56 shall accompany the bid.
