As of May 21, 2024 this project was awarded to Fury Site Work Inc with the awarded amount $8,547,388.87 Question Deadline 05/06/2024 Any omissions, discrepancies or need for interpretation should be brought in writing to the attention of the Engineer not later than 4 days prior to bid opening, The intent of this contract is to prescribe a complete work. Omissions from the Contract of details of works which are necessary to carry out the intent of the Contract, or which are customarily performed, shall not relieve the Contractor from performing the omitted work. Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows Constructing approximately 13,900 LF of ductile iron water mains, Constructing approximately 1,300 LF of earthquake resistant ductile iron pipe water mains, Constructing approximately 1,100 LF of HDPE water mains, Installing new fire hydrant assemblies, Installing replacement water services, Constructing a replacement Pressure Reducing Station in a concrete vault, Rehabilitate existing Pressure Reducing Station, Construction dewatering, Relocating existing utilities (as required), Abandoning asbestos cement pipe, Restoring surface conditions, including asphalt trench patching and concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, Performing traffic control, Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: o Constructing approximately 13,900 LF of ductile iron water mains, o Constructing approximately 1,300 LF of earthquake resistant ductile iron pipe water mains, o Constructing approximately 1,100 LF of HDPE water mains, "Installing new fire hydrant assemblies, "Installing replacement water services, "Constructing a replacement Pressure Reducing Station in a concrete vault, "Rehabilitate existing Pressure Reducing Station, o Construction dewatering, "Relocating existing utilities (as required), "Abandoning asbestos cement pipe, "Restoring surface conditions, including asphalt, trench patching and concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, .Performing traffic control, oOther work as required to complete the project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue. The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof.
