Renovation of a municipal facility in Laconia, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
No bids were received. Rebid information unknown at this time. The City of Laconia Department of Planning and Community Development is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for services related to Office Renovations. Specifications are listed in the general Specifications section Scope of Work: 1. Demolition and Disposal The successful bidder must demolish and dispose of the current counter tops, their bases, and the small door connecting the two counters. These structures must be disposed of in accordance with all City, State, and Federal regulations. 2. Installation The successful bidder must construct two floating walls, two counters, two doors, four sliding reception windows, and flooring. All new construction must meet ADA requirements as well as all other City, State, and Federal requirements. 3. Materials The successful bidder must purchase all materials needed to match the existing floors, walls, and structures, as best as possible. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason. When a construction or service contract is awarded in excess of $25,000.00 performance and payment bonds satisfactory to the City and executed by a surety company authorized to do business in New Hampshire, are required in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the price specified in the contract for the full term of the contract. Three (3) copies of a proposal for the Planning Department Office Renovation should be delivered to the Purchasing Office, 45 Beacon Street East, Laconia NH 03246. The proposal should include the following: 1. A description of the firm and its related experience on similar projects. Include appropriate summaries of projects as well as names and telephone numbers of references from customers who have contracted similar services. 2. A description of the project approach and schedule. 3. A not to exceed cost inclusive of all charges and expenses for the project. Including the scope of work outlined in this request for proposal.
