Provide quote for winter sand by ton and winter sand delivery by ton for the upcoming winter 24/25. Winter Road Sand Specifications: o 100% passing - 1/2" Sieve o 50-80 passing - 1/4" Sieve o 0-8% passing - 200 Sieve o Angular Product o Can be manufactured sand o Free of organic matter o Estimate quantity of 2000-4000 tons will be purchased. Finally quantity determined by budget and winter need. No allowance for price change if final quantity purchased difference from bid form amount. o Award will not be solely based on pricing, but quality and usability of product. Sieve maybe waived if it makes product more effective. Bond or Insurance Requirements: None Special Requirements: o Provide Itemized Price on provided bid form. A. Price per Ton (FOB, price at pit) (please provide pit address) (if there is no means of weight measure at pit provide a conversion factor of CY to Tons on bid) and B. Delivery Price per Ton (or CY with conversion factor) o Provide physical sand sample to Road Foreman / Highway Garage prior to June 10, 2024. o Vendor must be able to supply and/or delivery all material prior to start of winter season, October 15, 2024. o Price must be held till April 30th, 2025. o Delivery/Stockpile location is the Mount Holly Highway Garage at 101 School St, Mount Holly VT o If there are any questions please call Road Foreman, Clinton Woolley at Mount Holly Town Garage, 802-259-3179.
