The City of Hagerstown's Planning & Code Administration Department is requesting bids for the demolition of garages located at 148 W North Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21740. All inquiries should be directed, in writing to Tyler French (Procurement Administrator) at tfrench@hagerstownmd.org The City is the sole entity authorized to provide this Invitation to Bid ("ITB") package to interested companies or individuals. Firms who are working with an ITB package from another source may have an incomplete set of documents. The City assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, or misinterpretation resulting from a company's use of an incomplete ITB package. Addendums will be posted to the City's website. Check the webpage for the particular proposal solicitation for any posted addendum(s). It is the responsibility of the responder to ensure that their response is delivered prior to the due date and time. Any responses received after this time will not be considered and will be returned to respondent unopened. Only proposals from qualified and experienced contractors will be considered. Experienced contractors will be those that have completed similar projects. The City of Hagerstown shall make positive efforts to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprises for its supplies and services and shall allow these sources the maximum feasible opportunity to compete for contracts.
