Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: "Clearing and Grubbing "Remove Asphalt Pavement o Remove Cement Concrete Curb, Gutter, Driveways and Sidewalk "Removing Existing Traffic Signal System "Construct Cement Concrete Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk and Curb Ramps "Construct Cement Concrete Driveway Approach and Driveways o Construct Gravity Block Walls ' o Grind and Overlay of Asphalt Pavement. o Install New Traffic Signal Systems o Install Signal Communication System o Channelization and Signing "Property Restoration and Miscellaneous Work Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond m the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited, to the City of Bellevue. SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBLE BIDDER CRITERIA will apply to this project, and are included in Section 1-02 of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Any bidder determined to be not responsible based on these supplemental criteria may appeal the City's determination by providing additional information to the City at the address above within 2 business days following receipt of the City's written determination that the bidder was determined not responsible. The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof.
