Renovation of a water / sewer project in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Removal of the existing shooting range located adjacent to the Parkersburg Utility Board Water Treatment Plant, 2201 Keever Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101, including demolition; grading; erosion & sedimentation control; and transporting soils to the new shooting range, together with necessary appertaining work. Installation of the new shooting range to the north of the existing range along Keever Street will include clearing and grubbing; erosion and sedimentation control; aggregate drives; shooting range facilities; relocated equipment and buildings; grading; and seeding and mulching, together with necessary appertaining work. Contract time shall be 150 calendar days for substantial completion, 180 calendar days for final completion, and liquidated damages of $1,000 per day will be assessed past the project completion date. A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company approved by the Parkersburg Utility Board in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a Contract, if given the award. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. The Parkersburg Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest and best bidders.
